In July
In July\August 2007 we had our first holiday
in Egypt. We were a little
apprehensive about what to do and where to go as we wanted
to see
everything. Having spent a couple of hours researching the
companies
providing tours on the internet eventually settling on Real
life Egypt.
Best two hours we could have spent.
We saved over £250 per couple on the package company
prices and got our
own personal guide and transport (air conditioned people
carriers).
Having
our own guide and transport was much better than being in
a coach with
another 40 or 50 people. Our guides were extremely good,
very
knowledgeable, very good English and friendly. They explained
everything in
a way we could understand and we felt we learnt a lot more
with this
very
individual attention, being able to have questions answered
so
personally.
We made trips to the Pyramids, Sphinx and museums in Cairo,
all
arrangements, pick-ups, transport etc. organised by Mohamed.
Other
trips
were two to the West Bank, a day out to Abydos and Dendera,
a balloon
ride
and a sea plane flight (an excellent way to see historical
sites of
the
West bank and the temples of the East bank. An experience
we would
recommend.) All the trips were very well organised by Mohamed
and we
paid
most excursions on the day. We did ask Mohamed for a trip
around the
Egyptian market in Luxor and he picked us up and spent 2/3
hours with
us
showing us the market enabling us to buy our souvenirs with
out the
hassel
and haggling you normally get.
We would recommend this as the best way to see the wonderful
ancient
sites
Egypt and also learn, as we did, from the guides the present
day
culture of
Egypt. It is our opinion we couldn't have done all we did
without the
excellent organisation of Real Life Egypt and we would highly
recommend
Mohamed and Real life Egypt to organise your itinerary.
The whole
holiday
experience was stress free. Thank you for helping to make
our holiday
so
special.
